Artist Statement

“Time x Time ² ” exhibited at Kelly & Gemelli – Art & Design, Jan 2021 related to my experience of confinement – squared to one’s studio/home because of covid. This gave me the experience of how time can appear short or unbelievably long. This has led me to “Do you have Time?” The title was chosen for its ambiguity of negative and positive status of the human condition – perception, introversion and questioning. It might be that you and I inhabit the same time. If it is the same time? The passing of it defies us both. In my case – visual speculation and curiousities of possibilities of its importance … and you? Do you have time?
